Perched on the headland, you can drink in the breathtaking views and learn about how the Castle changed hands during the wars. Then recharge at Cadwaladers, located halfway up Castle street hill and enjoy a well-deserved sundae and invigorating coffee before you return home.
Porthmadog
Discover the brilliant Ffestiniog railway and take a journey in the historic steam engines through ancient woodlands, mountains and coastlines. Or if walking is your thing, take a page out of The Weatherman, Derek Brockman’s book and walk the Cob, for a gentle stroll. Learn about the murders and hangings that took place.
Once you have walked back via the cycle path, treat yourself to a delicious Margherita Pizza available at our Porthmadog store on the High Street. Located opposite the bowling green.

With stunning waterfall walks surrounding Betws-Y-Coed, you can really take your time to enjoy yourself. enjoy a walk to Swallow Falls or Rhaeadr Y Graig Lwyd. If walking isn’t your thing and you fancy something a bit more daring, explore Zip World Fforest for sky rides, roller coasters and more! Spend a day on Castle beach in Tenby, sunbathing or strolling, and enjoy the gorgeous scenery. If you are feeling adventurous, grab your family or friends and head out to Caldey Island to visit the Monks. Located on Tudor Square, Cadwaladers will offer you a delicious range of Belgian waffles topped with a variety of different toppings and Welsh ice cream. It’s the best way to round off the day.

What’s occurin’ in Barry then? Well, quite a lot if you fancy treating your family and friends. Hit the arcades or Barry Island Pleasure Park for a traditional seaside break.
