Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, visited Cadwaladers today on her and Charles’ tour of North Wales this July.
Our Operations Manager, Paul Morton (plus son) and Criccieth Cadwaladers’ Manager, Carys Williams, welcomed Camilla in store to see the historic shop and its selection of delicious Welsh ice cream.
Camilla perused the wide selection of flavours and ordered her ice cream, our new Deluxe Mango and Passionfruit flavour. She also took orders for her staff and photographers, much to their delight! (Who wouldn’t turn down a Cadwaladers ice cream on such a beautiful sunny day!) She then made her way with Carys to the rear of the store and enjoyed the well renown majestic view of Criccieth beach and Castle. Speaking to Carys, she mentioned that she would love to have a swim in the crystal clear waters.
After enjoying the best view in Criccieth and her ice cream, Camilla then rejoined Charles, after his visit to the Clog makers. They then continued their tour of Criccieth to visit the local RNLI crew. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to welcome the Duchess to our Criccieth store and we all wish them both the best for the rest of their trip.
